Pro's

  • Medium-textured, dark green leaves. most closely resembles tall fescue
  • Grows well in full sun or under light shade, has excellent heat and cold tolerance.
  • Slow growth. Maintain cutting height of 3/4 to 3 inches. Mowing may be required on a 7 to 10 day interval
  • Drought resistant : Zenith survives drought conditions by going dormant
  • Zenith tolerates wear and traffic such as dog and child
  • Zenith is particularly tolerant of common lawn insect pests
  • Neutral to alkaline soil with a pH range of 6 to 7

Con's

  • Will go dormant after first frost
  • Drought tolerant; it goes dormant in extended drought, greening up again when rain returns
